Frequently Asked Questions

Do you deliver and set up?

Yes! Our knowledgeable and courteous staff will deliver and set up your order, whether it be an inflatable, game truck, rockwall, etc. We also ensure that it is clean and in good working condition at least 30 min. before your party starts and will come back to take it down at an agreed upon time. Set up usually takes about 10-20 minutes. This service is included in your total rental cost. We never have additional charges or fees that are not disclosed at the time that you make your reservation.

What time is the set up and pick up?

We try not to put restrictions on your rental times. Our staff is restricted by Mother Nature, but weather permitting, we delivery and pick up most hours, within reason.

Where can I set up a bouncer?

Backyards, Front yards, Parks, Driveways (if necessary), Gymnasiums, Rental Halls, and just about anywhere else fairly level and clean will work great for a bouncer.

Can I pick the inflatable bouncer or slide up at your location, and set it up myself?

For safety reasons, we prefer to provide delivery, set-up, take down, and removal for all rentals. However, for certain instances, we do offer customer pick-up options.

How much room do I need?

Our inflatable slides range from 16’x16’ (bounce house), to 70’x14’(obstacle) & 65’x20’ (slides). If you have the room, we can set it up.

What kind of power is required?

The bouncer must be within 100 feet of a dedicated circuit. Do not plug anything else into the outlet or another outlet on the same circuit. All of our inflatable plug into a standard 110-volt household outlet, but draw between 8amps & 14amps. We can supply the extension cord. If you would like to set up at a park or a place that does not have an electrical outlet within 100ft, let us know and we can provide a generator for an additional charge.

What type of surface can the inflatable be placed on?

You will need a somewhat flat area (preferable grassy), that is clean of debris (sticks, stones, mud, etc.), tree roots, or pet waste. If you do have a sprinkler system, please advise us before setting up. For proper clearance, you will need at least a 20x20 area, with clearance overhead (no power lines, trees, branches, overhangs, etc.) of 20 feet. An electrical outlet needs to be within 100 feet. If you do not have an electrical outlet nearby, a generator will be required and can be provided at an additional charge. The safest surface is a level grassy area. However, we can set up on concrete, asphalt, or bark. Please specify when ordering which surface we will be setting up on and we will make sure we utilize the proper anchors for your event.

Are they safe?

Yes. Our inflatables are constructed to be as safe as possible. As with any activity involving small children, an adult should supervise the activity. This will help to insure that the safety rules are followed and that someone is always there to assist children entering and exiting the inflatable. Our inflatable’s entire are covered for weather protection, such as direct sun and light rain. They also have netting to allow for great visibility and air circulation.

Is there a deposit required and how can I pay?

Not in most cases. All we need to know is the date, time, and location of your event, as well as the inflatable you prefer. We collect payment the day of the event or party when we set up. A receipt will be sent out with the unit. We accept cash, money order, corporate checks, and all major credit cards. We do not accept personal checks.

How far in advance should I make my reservations?

To ensure the best selection, we recommend you reserve your equipment as early as possible when you begin planning your event. We reserve our units weeks and months in advance. We don’t want you to miss out on the fun! Saturdays are our most popular day and book up quickly! There is no deposit required or cancellation fee and our weather policy is designed to be fair for everyone!

What if I have to cancel?

No problem. Just give us a call. If you need to make any changes to your rental or if you would like to cancel it, please contact us as soon as possible. We would appreciate as much notice as possible so we have chance to rent your inflatable to someone else, we usually have a waiting list for cancellations.

What are my responsibilities as the renter of a bouncer?

You must assign a responsible adult to supervise the children while the bouncer is in use. This adult must know all the safety rules and make sure those rules are enforced. You are responsible for the safety of the children and for the care of the equipment as outlined in the rental contract.

Capacity Rules for Bounce House

  • - Up to 10 Children (8 Years old & under)
  • - Up to 6-8 Children (9 years to 12 years)
  • - Up to 4-5 Older Teens
  • - Up to 4 adults However keep in mind that compatible sized children MUST play on the unit at the same time, REGARDLESS of age. Different sized children must not be mixed. Please remember, the above is a guideline only. It all depends on the size of the children, and how active they are. Remember, you want to keep them safe. If needed, split them into groups. Give each group ten minutes in the bounce house.

Bounce Unit Rules

  • - No somersaults, rough playing or flips
  • - No shoes, food, or drinks allowed in the bounce unit
  • - No silly string or sharp objects allowed


Individuals wearing orthodontic braces should be careful that they could tangle in the safety netting causing damage to their teeth. We ask that you be aware of this risk

What if it is rainy or windy?

Bouncers, Slides, and More, Inc. reserves the right to cancel a reservation (AT NO PENALTY TO YOU) if there are heavy rains or high winds (over 20 mph). Safe operation of our units and customer safety is our utmost concern. If the weather is questionable, we will call you in the morning and give you the option to accept or decline the unit. Once you accept the unit, and it is set up, no refund will be offered.
